Clouds Rest

Clouds Rest dominates the foreground of this view from Half Dome's summit, and it snows in the High Sierra, beyond. Time to get going in case it starts snowing on the cables route. September, 2007.

but the right side of the picture is a little flawed because the pano-maker didn't blend the brightness properly.

This was my first trip to Yosemite. I wanted to tag both Cloud's Rest and Half Dome, but there just wasn't enough time due to a late 10:30 start. I also passed several meddlers who said that I'd "never make it out before dark," which was annoying. But the snow, view, and a few fun people on the summit made it all worthwhile. It was sure fun passing some of the meddlers on the way down. I hope they made it out before dark.
