These are a few of the pictures I took while hiking in Cohab Canyon. We started the hike from the trailhead across the road from Fruita Campground, ending up at the Hickman Bridge trailhead.

The name of this canyon is derived from stories that are told about cohabitationists (ie Mormon polgamists) using the canyon to hide from federal marshals during the 1880s. As the canyon entrance is hidden, I found the stories believable and they were fun to think about when we were hiking.
