OverviewThe Cojzova koča mountain hut is perched on the Kokra saddle (the full name is: Cojzova koča na Kokrskem sedlu).
The Kokra saddle offers a fairly undemanding passage between the Kamniška Bistrica valley (East, Kamniška Bistrica trailhead) and the Kokra valley (West, Kokra/Suhadolnik trailhead).
The Kokra saddle also links the Central group of the range with the Krvavec group to the South.
The standard ascent of Grintovec (the highest peak in the range) starts at the Kokra saddle.
The Skuta standard ascent also starts at the Cojzova hut, as well as a southeast ascent of Kočna.
To the south, the inviting walls of Kalška gora rise just above the hut, a marked and secured path also leading to its summit (and to Kalški greben).
The Cojzova koča is run by the Kamnik Alpine Association.
Usual reduction on overnight costs for Mountaineering Association member card bearers.
