It was interesting trying to cook with mittens and the down jacket. It only got colder from here on up also. At one point I just leaned really far out the tent to cook, so most of body could stay inside the tent and warm.

Have you gotten the big snow that we've had (in Idaho) down your way? I was thinking of some trips to southern Utah soon.
