Colorful mountain scenery, with the east end of the Lenin massif seen in the horizon. After leaving the bleak and barren landscape of Tajikistan (3km away), all the colors came as happy surprise.

Another area about 200km from Peak Lenin is an education ground for artists and photographers, because of the almost unreal color scale. When cycling through that area, it was like biking inside a surrealistic painting. | | Posted Dec 30, 2004 10:18 am |
