| Approached via Venable Creek. I climbed Pt 12,873 directly from Venable Lakes. I then ran the ridge over to Venable, Spring and then to Comanche. I descended Comanche Creek. Snow was not a problem and Venable Creek was the hightlight of the day. | |

| Loop climb from North Crestone TH, up Comanche traverse over Spring to Venable, back down to our camp near the base of the Comanche Trail. Very little visibility most of the day, then the clouds started to break on descent of Spring just in time to be "wowed" by the view of Phantom Terrace! Climbed with Scot and Colin. | |

| Climbed it with my buddy Josh from a camp at the lower Comanche lake. Hiked up to the pass, and then up the North Ridge on the "back"(West) side of the mountain. Nice climb....perfect weather, cloudless sky with temps in the 50's-60's. Great view from the summit. | |
