Commonwealth Peak. You have to cross the boggy area in the foreground (yes it is boggy) to access the col on the left. The trudge up the slope goes quite quickly as it is for the most part consolidated. The top bits require careful route finding and take the most time on this rather short day. August 29th, 2009.
