Compton Cliffs
This shot shows the route I downclimbed from the top of the cliffs reached after the "right fork" (the right-heading spur from the AT as one hikes up Compton from Compton Gap). The climbing was Class 3 but had some slightly unnerving exposure in one spot. There are easier ways up and down, and there are some nice technical ones, too. These cliffs get up to about 40' in height and have nice views to the west.
