The Concordia, the amphitheatre of ten of the world's thirty greatest mountains. From K-2, at its foot stretches another wonder of the world, Concordia: a rippling, pitted, pockmarked river of ice, where great glacier slide and slither togather before separating to go their diffrent ways. Like a proscenium, Concordia is part of the main stage of natural amphitheatre that has no equal. The photo was taken during month of August 2007, while waiting for clear weather.
