Coney Lake as viewed from a small plane in July of 74. The reason for showing this pic is that it gives you a view of the Northwest couloir (lower left) which is rather devoid of snow. This is an alternate route to gain the ridge. The northwest ridge is just to the right of the couloir. Unfortunately, Cannon Mtn is obscured by clouds in this pic. Slide scanned to digital
