| Trail ran the approach on the trail (16 miles RT) and scrambled up a very steep slot. No water above river made for a very dry return on a hot and sunny day. Left a summit register and enjoyed the great views of Warbonnet, Elk Peak, and the Rakers. Surprised to see a benchmark. Garden Peak to the south is really a hidden gem. 9 hours RT from the Grandjean TH. | |
