Rob, John, and I decided to do Copper between storms on Saturday. The day turned out to be amazing and the snow was great! The view from the top was amazing as well.
Snowshoed up the standard southwest ridge route, then looped back to the trailhead via Pt. 7992'. Good short climb, awesome weather and views. Here's a trip report and some photos.
I had planned to snowshoe up but the snow was firm and had melted in places on the south facing slopes so I was able to hike up without breaking through. The summit ridge cornices were quite impressive.
