In July 2009, I scrambled the very steep, loose and exposed north ridge with a great group of friends. None of us cared for its sketchiness, so we dropped partway down the west ridge from the summit to a point where we could downclimb class 3 rock to gain the steep snowfields leading back toward the Copper-Pica col. Then we traversed to Pica Peak.
"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."
