| For being a bump on Mt Hawkin's ridge, it really is a nice goal with stunning views. Threw in Throop and Islip (plus the mandatory double climb of Mt Hawkins) for a good peak bagging day. With Coco the Dog. | |

| Hiked with TacoDelRio from Islip Saddle, to Mount Hawkins, to Copter Ridge, back to Mount Hawkins, to Windy Gap, up Mount Islip and down the east ridge. Nice hike, great weather. Here are my GPS tracks, elevation profile nad Google Map. | |

This was the second time I did it. Biked from Islip Saddle to right below Windy Gap. Hiked up from there to Hawkins and down to Copter, total time 5 hours. With the 2 still closed, gets few visitors. | ||

| Did Copter Ridge as part of a 6-peak loop including Mt. Lewis, Mt. Hawkins, Middle Hawkins, Throop Peak and Mt. Islip. We hiked from Islip Saddle to Dawson Saddle to begin the loop and returned to Islip Saddle. | |
