Pili

Access to Pili involves a long detour around the Salar de Pujsa, then continuing up a drainage to a very rough track to a high trailhead (as it is). We hiked to Pili's shoulder and 5600m sub-peak, turning back due to wind. Although beautiful in its own way, Pili is an immensely stark, lonely and unforgiving environment.

2 So Far  Sucess!

After several Acclimatization peaks in the Cordillera Central, we went south and climbed Callejón Cañapa and Cerro Tomasamil before moving on to Ojos del Salado and Aconcagua.
