| After tagging San Jacinto via the Marion Mountain Trail, I took a side trip and bagged nearby Miller Peak (10,400') and Cornell Peak (9750'). I enjoyed the fun class 3 climb up via the west face of Cornell Peak with its final class 4 summit block (which I approached via the SW side). I had to sit on the summit block so I could look down the north (exposed) side of Cornell Peak. | |

| Nice scramble on the third day of a four day SoCal HPS spree with Bob. Cool summit block! We cheated by taking the tram up, but tried to compensate with a fairly ambitious schedule once we made it up there: first tagging an interesting third class pinnacle SE of Cornell (unnamed, but quite worthwhile), then continuing on to this one, then Miller, San Jacinto, Folly, Drury, Jean, and Marion. Lots of snow and lots of fun. | |

| A amazing peak in a amazing range. The views from the top are better then Jacinto's. The final boulder outcrop is very exposed but very worth it. | |
