| I simply adore this peak! Doing it was something else. I'd seen its distinctive form from many a summit over the months before. It's beautiful from a distance and close up. We set off early - just us. A small group had set off earlier and only 2 of the 4 completed. We didnt encounter any snow until the first col. The "trepada" was okay. The second "trepada" to gain the final col was a bit more complicated, but okay if you find the best place to clamber up (we looked too soon - nearer to the col seemed easier). The summit views were breathtaking. I didn't wanna go home! | ||

| It was a great landscape and itinerary of the circo de Armeña. We climbed Cotiella and the eastern part of the cirque (Cotielleta, Reduno) and we sleeped in the area of the hut with a lot of people (it was the 50th aniversary of R. d'Espouy and 25th aniversary of the the hut). The next day we climbed the interesting Peña de las Once with a visit to the beautiful Ibon de Plan. It was a hard but Fantastic week-end | |
