The most beautiful crater i've ever seen, and so far i saw 13!

Still, for me, the Caldera de Taburiente is the most beautiful crater I've seen so far. I camped in it, and after that I spent more than two days hiking most of the rim. The crater floor is very lush, and the whole atmosphere in there made me feel that this is what our planet must have been in prehistoric times.

Perhaps if I had seen the Cotopaxi crater with my own eyes, I would find it the most beautiful one too, but the clouds didn't let me ...

It's a huge one, on La Palma, one of the Canary Islands. If you read El Bastón you might understand why I like it.
