This picture shows the difference of where the USGS map has the Cottonwood Lakes Trailhead and the signed Cottonwood Lakes Trailhead. Our track shows how the signed trail is followed from the adjacent parking lot to Horseshoe Meadows, and NOT directly from the Horseshoe Meadows Road.
