Amazing!  Sucess!

Absolutely amazing! I was in awe the whole time. And with what water was present, I didn't get wet! I just skated across the ice.

Recent rains  Sucess!

Quite a hike, recent heavy rains made this exciting. Numerous impressive waterfalls. What seems to normally be a stemming-worthy dryfall at the beginning of the Entrada narrows was a kicking waterfall--had to downclimb to the right of it. Lots of water in the boulder jams section, decided to head back (hiking alone). Beautiful canyon. Water increases the difficulty!

With a bunch of little kids and old people  Sucess!

Been all over there, but last time I did Crack all the way through was April 21, 2006. On that trip, we had our one year old daughter Shaylee, our three year old son Kessler, our four year old nephew Josh, and six year old nephew Matthew, my brother Mark, his wife Angie, and my two parents. People thought we were crazy for taking all those young kids through, but it is an easy canyon, with only one short 4th class boulder.

Crack Canyon  Sucess!

This is a pretty slot canyon. There are three sets of narrows with just enough boulders and chockstones to keep it interesting. I recommend this hike for anyone in the area.
