Pretty straight forward. You can either stay on the ridge across or drop to Highest Lake and head back up. Either way it's not much more than a walk.

Did the cirque from Ida to Terra Tomah. Windy, but beautiful September day. I would do this again just for the solitude.

I would love to checkout Crack Couloir sometime!

Total ascents = 4. First time on a long one day traverse from Milner Pass to Bear Lake. The summits that day included Ida, Chief Cheley, Cracktop, Julian, Terra Tomah, Sprague and Flattop.

Cracktop was my 79th Rocky Mountain National park summit. We came over Ida and continued to Terra Tomah. It was long a memorable day and a half in the park.

Great mountain and a fun scramble from Chief Cheley. Looks like the "crack couloir" would be loads of fun!
