Crane Mountain

The upper reaches of Crane Mountain are drivable but high clearance is an absolute necessity and 4WD is handy as well. There is space for one vehicle at the trailhead north of the summit but plenty of room at the old lookout site at the end of the road a little farther north.

Thanks for adding this as it adds some good info. Bob and I had to walk from down near the 7200 foot level but we needed the exercise.
Now I wish we had walked over to the old lookout site but we had to get home after a very busy weekend.
