Thanks for the kind remark.
One of the advantages of climbing Baker via the Easton route is getting up close and personal with the crater. It is very spectacular to see in person.

I remember climbing on this side of the mountain, all I could think about the whole time was the smell. You can smell the sulfur from the vent the whole damn climb. I have even gotten whiffs of baker "crap" on Shuksan!

We only got to smell it for a few minutes as a pretty strong wind was blowing the smoke away from us most of the time.
