Crevasse layering
Crevasse on Easton Glacier showing layering. The 2007 snowpack thickness in mid-August was 3.5 meters. This is part of the annual mass balance survey of the glacier conducted byt the North Cascade Glacier Climate Projeect. Quin Ourada, Oregon State is making the measurement.

How deep was the crevasse? You mentioned measurements were being done.

The crevasse depth overall that we could measure was 23 meters
