Crevasse Lip
Sometimes making it over the lip can be the hardest part of getting yourself out of a crevasse. Benjamin is demonstrating a good method by inserting the shaft of the ax at an angle and using it as a handle. Photographed at 7000 feet on Mount Baker, July 9, 2007
