Crevasses around Ingraham Flats
Huge crevasses surround the Ingraham Flats on a summit attempt in July 2006. Notice the tents on the flats for scale.

How was the climb? A big change of scenery from CO for you, I presume.

Unfortunately back spasms made us turn around at the top of the cleaver and we were unable to summit, we'll be back though! We felt strong otherwise, being from CO really helped a lot too, the altitude was basically a non factor.

The scenery was just incredible. We started out the climb in mist and fog and then on summit day it was perfectly clear. We went to the Olympics as well on this trip so we got all kinds of variety! Can't wait to give it another try, maybe August.
