Voted 10/10 | This is a beautiful picture of the Welsh Coast scenery. Lovely colours connect the sky, rocks and water.

Hasn't voted | Cheers David, this is a superb piece of coastline and well worth a visit, even if you don't want to climb on it. | | Posted Oct 16, 2009 4:20 pm |

 | | lcarreau | Hello Dan and Davey: | |
Voted 10/10 | I note the description beneath the picture is
denoted as "October 2009."
I see blue sky with rays of sunlight hitting
the water. Isn't this a bit unusual to be
seeing along the Welsh Coastline in October?
I did a so-called "North Atlantic cruise" in
1979, and the skies were gray all the way from the Rock of Gibraltar to Norway.
Thirty years later, the sunshine appears be
alive and well along the Welsh Coast.
Is there an answer for this ??? | | Posted Oct 16, 2009 8:07 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Well I am not sure if the Welsh have any course for climate change...?
Even though I live another 250 miles away from Wales in Kent we here in Kent have had some lovely warm and pleasant weather for this time of year.
Normally known as our Indian summers.

Hasn't voted | Hi there, yes this photo was taken last weekend. I've just got back from another day's climbing and the weather has been just as good – it's making up for the dreary summer we've just had. | | Posted Oct 17, 2009 11:44 am |

Voted 10/10 | Funny, but where I am, i.e. in C/CE Europe this month's been awful so far - it seems like it's making up for the gorgeous September. :) | | Posted Oct 18, 2009 11:01 am |

Voted 10/10 | Do you know we've got one renowned Welshman living here? I guess he spent last summer in Poland and now he must be back in Cymru. ;) | | Posted Oct 19, 2009 6:34 am |

Hasn't voted | I did not know that. I think I'd prefer my winters in Poland - you get a lot of snow there right? | | Posted Oct 19, 2009 6:38 am |

Voted 10/10 | Well, as far as the mts are concerned, probably a bit more than Scotland but overall not that much: maximum snow depth last winter (in cm) - click on the little map in the top left-hand corner. | | Posted Oct 19, 2009 12:34 pm |

Hasn't voted | That's more than we get in Wales :( | | Posted Oct 19, 2009 5:32 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Cheer up, Dan, if I had my way:) I'd trade all our snow for some gorgeous rocky shores like those of Pembrokeshire.
Cheers

Voted 10/10 | Me thinks that's even a greater amount of snow
than what we get in central Arizona.
But we have the Crimson King and the Iron "Oxide" Curtain, so I'm keeping my smile and my mouth shut !!!
