Crinoids and Brachiopods
A crinoid fossil approximately 5 cms long surrounded by brachiopod debris. Found below the limestone crest at the head of Marblerock Creek.

Thanks for this and all your nice comments on my stuff recently. You must have had an "evening with vancouver islander" - every time I looked at my profile page last night the number of hits had increased by several hundred - far more than normal.

There is nowhere better on the Island for fossils than Marble Meadows. They're everywhere you look. Of course I'd stopped looking and was on my way back to the hut when I bent over to tie a lace and looked at this, the best example of the day, 6 inches from my nose!
