great hike. I found myself getting heel blisters, so I stuck some granola bar wrappers on my heels. That did the trick.

Do this one quite a bit. Always a good workout with a good reward.

I took my wife and six year old son on this hike. We saw a Williamson Sapsucker on the summit. Fall is definitely the best time of year to hike.

Nice mountain to ascend when the snow is too deep early in the season.

This was my second time on Crosier. I hiked with my sister Liz, who was visiting from Idaho Falls. We started at 9:30, reached the top just before noon, and got back to the car at 2:15. This was my first hike of the season, and it was pretty tough. I guess I was a little out of shape. The weather was nice and sunny, and pretty breezy at the summit. We got back just in time, for there were some evil looking clouds rolling in.

Total assents 10. The first time was magical with the real Christmas trees covered with snow.

Great little hike to a summit with unsurpassed views of RMNP. Some snow along the trail and snowshoes were helpful in the trees. Not another sole around.

I had a good time on this hike. There were some nice wildflowers in the meadows, and great views of RMNP from the summit area.

Total ascents = 12. This is a very large and complicated mountain that offers many good montane zone hikes, on and off trail.

Hiked to the summit multiple times since 1988. This trip proved to be quite exciting as it alternated between snow squalls and nice weather punuated with blue skies followed by more wind and snow. Saw some elk further down.
