Crossing Miller River...

Crossing the West Fork of Miller River, at ~2400' elevation. The river must be crossed by fording, jumping across on boulders, or (as seen in this photo) by finding a tree laying above and across the channel. Photo taken on May 18, 2011, while en route to Cascade Mountain in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
