Crossing the Hintere Faulwand | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] | |||
We're crossing the Hintere Faulwand (3413) on our descent from Similaun (3606m) into the Pfossental. In the right of the picture, you can see that the east face of the main ridge of the alps is pretty steep, but from the Faulwand it's relatively easy. Lot's of boulders and scree, but not really steep. The pointy peak on the far right is the Hintere Schwärze (3628m). 3 September 2009. Comments |  Image Data
