Crux of Turret Peak's West Ridge

Crux of Turret Peak\'s West Ridge
Climber negotiating the 5.6ish crux of Turret Peak's West Ridge. Loose holds made this section quite spicy, especially for the leader. Wind River Range, Wyoming. July 2009.

Looks tempting to me. No spices necessary:) But the Wind River is generally much more solid than Colorado, isn't it?

I think you're right about the Winds. Most of the rock was very solid but there were some areas with loose rock, particularly in gullies. This crux was at the top of a gully of sorts.
