Cusco/Majes River

Another picture from the Cusco/Majes River, a mountain stream running through the town of Choco, Peru. Choco is at about 9,400 feet in the Andes of southern Peru. It is surrounded on all sides by mountains ranging from 13,100 feet to 16,400 feet (4,000-5,000m). The Cusco/Majes River originates in the snowcaps of mountains farther upstream.
