Cut Bank Ridge

The east (left) and north (right) summits of Mad Wolf Mountain are in full view as we ascend Cut Bank Ridge. From this point, horse trails can be followed towards the great boulder field (visible just above and to the left of my climbing partner Josh Olson) at the base of the mountain. Above the boulders, a noticeable scree field provides access to the mountain's upper slopes via a short class III gully. After negotiating the break, the rest of the route is very straightforward.
