Cutthroat Peak from the North...
Cutthroat Peak from the North Cascades Highway on September 6, 2003. The South(east) Buttress features prominently in the photo. There is a well-defined bootpath from the road to the upper basin. Look for a set of cairns down the bank from the road. If you don't find the trail down the creek, it's BW 3 or BW 4 or worse for a couple of hundred yards.
