The Dachstein region......is justly considered by many people to be one of the most gorgeous areas in the whole of Austria. This is a set of pics I took during a day of great weather I spent below Dachstein as well as on top of Hunerkogel (2694m), the summit of which is accessible with the Dachstein telepherique (which I naturally used; in mid-March there is still far too much snow to do any serious mountain hiking there).
