| Wisemtn | Not so Fun Jeep Road ![]() Date Climbed: Sep 28, 2010 | |
| Didn't start until 6:30 so I ran most of the way until it got too steep. Made it up in under an hour and returned (got dark on the way back). Didn't really care for the trail b/c it was mostly a jeep road... Made it up again on the way to Perkins Peak on 10/2/10. | ||

| seanpeckham | on the way to Perkins and back ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 25, 2009 | |
| used Vibram Five Fingers and ran as much of the ridge as i could; the bushwhacking slowed us down and it took 3 or 4 hours to do the 9 miles roundtrip. we saw hunters too; when they asked if i'd seen any deer, i said no, but my wife is on the trail too, so don't shoot her. if i had seen a deer i would certainly not have told him so. glad to have been wearing bright colors. | ||

| Dean | Lotsa hunters ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 24, 2009 | |
| Looking for something that wasn't going to get rained on, I chose this for a conditioner and soon found that there were a lot of folks in orange with rifles on this mountain. I had orange on as well but no rifle, just my trekking poles. I enjoyed the hike and got off before the rain hit. | ||

| October 3 2009 The original plan was to climb Mount Timpanogos, the second highest mountain in the Wasatch Mountains and one of the most beautiful mountains in the Rockies. Unfortunately conditions were not ideal since a snowstorm 1-2 days prior dropped over a foot of snow in the high Wasatch. Because of the snowy conditions up high, we set our sights on the much easier and lower Dale Peak, a minor summit in the Wasatch. Kessler, Shaylee, Kimberly and my father joined me for the climb. Some cousins of the children were supposed to come to, but they decided not to go. We chose the East Ridge route to the summit. It was a pretty easy route and steep in places, but most of the trail was good although the upper part is slightly overgrown. The entire climb was under cloudy skies. After enjoying the views while eating lunch at the summit, we headed down. We got back just in time since on the drive home there was some very light rain. Mid 1990's I climbed this peak on the way to Perkins Peak in the mid 1990's. | ||

| ZeeJay | Long ridge walk ![]() Date Climbed: Mar 13, 1999 | |
| Started at the end of Benchmark Dr with MM. Climbed the SW ridge of Perkins. The going was slow and painful between the 7160 bump and Perkins. Continued over Dale all the way to Little Mt Summit. Came back the same way until just before Perkins and took the 2nd ridge N of Spring Canyon to Kennedy Dr. | ||
