Seems like he was always good at breaking trail.

How about nordic skis? Seems like you could
stay on top of things with them. Nice picture!

Breaking trail was no big deal. What made it hard, was my dog, who normally is up front, chose to stay behind me. He kept stepping on the back of my snow shoes, making it very difficult to walk. Hiking partners! Can't live with, can't live without them!
