Dangerous Terrain

Dangerous Terrain
Without question, this was the scariest & most dangerous section of the Hoh River Trail. The trail was narrow, winding, and pebbles could be felt continually rolling downhill. I dropped a glove in this section, and the only way that I was able to retrieve it was by using a long fallen branch. If I had attempted crawling down the slope, I would have certainly slid all of the way down the hill, with no way back!
