DATE AND TIME: 052105, 1840; LOCATION: From between mileposts 182-183 along US 84/285, just north of Pojoaque; CAMERA: Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom, 3.2 megapixel, 10x optical, 3x digital; DESCRIPTION: An early-evening view of Middle, Medio and South Truchas Peaks, facing NE. Middle Truchas is the large, snowy peak at the left 1/3, Medio Truchas is slightly left of center and South Truchas is the large peak right of center. North Truchas, which you get a better view of in this photo, is barely visible to the left of and behind Middle Truchas. The little peak to the lower right of South Truchas is a false summit that you must ascend if approaching South Truchas from the south. Thanks to SP member "attm" for helping me identify these peaks.
