De Motte Meadows and Kaibab Highpoint

De Motte Meadows and Kaibab Highpoint
View from Vermont Hill. The almost-impreceptible high point of Kaibab Plateau rises on the central skyline almost 400 vert ft above my perch.

Skinny skis and long miles is the way of winter Kaibab Plateau. I am about 23 miles / 10 hours into the R2R2R trip by this point, time for a decent hot meal at last! 1/10/09 9 am.
