Canyons and Dunes

Highlights of this trip included scrambling up steep gullies in Golden Canyon and getting rained on while exploring the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes. We also visited Natural Bridge Canyon and the Bad Water Salt Pan although those formations were slightly less interesting.

I was in Death Valley from 2/13 through 2/17. It looks liked we hiked in many of the same areas, although I think it is very interesting to see the pictures you took while scrambling. A different perspective!

I was very surprised by how much the area has to offer. In my mind I always just pictured a barren desert place. Thanks for looking!
