December 28, 2003. At the beginning of our 5-day snow camping trip, we were the only ones in the area. Everywhere we went, we were breaking new trail in knee-deep powder. Tyson & Peter are heading toward Panorama Ridge from Taylor meadows. The Tusk would be to our left.

The Tusk is closer to Squamish, but the Helm Creek trail head on the other side is close to Whistler. It's a looooooong slog in on either side (logging roads aren't plowed in winter), but great to be alone once there.
