Decending via Monte Sévice (true-colour image)
On a rare occasion when I climbed with someone, his comment was - "I see why you come climbing so often". Huh! since age 10, this is the only time I've been in this amazing lighting.
When in this light all the colours change - everyhing is either cerise pink or dark.

Hasn't voted | The rarity of such light is matched by the beauty of the mood which it brings. | | Posted Sep 7, 2009 4:04 pm |

I'm on the second highest peak in the Apennines, Italy. Monte Velino, 2486 metres. One that I climbed 14 times, 12 alone, mostly in deep winter. Cetainly got myself gripped several times.
Truly a lucky day to get this light. | | Posted Jun 22, 2010 3:52 pm |

Voted 10/10 | So, just curious ...
Do you speak any different language "tongues"
other than the English language?
I always fail "miserably" when I have to
speak Romanian or Hungarian. | | Posted Jun 22, 2010 10:55 pm |

Hasn't voted | I can get by with Italian. German, understand some, along with Spanish, Russian, and a bit of Japanese. Though count well in most languages, as it's important to know what you are taking out of the Banks! (wouldn't want to get ripped off would we). | | Posted Jun 23, 2010 12:34 pm |

Hasn't voted | Yes, almost a Martian sunset. Truly an astounding few minutes. The pink light was so intense that no other colour reflected its own colour. Just Black and Pink. Talk about gettin' high! | | Posted Nov 25, 2010 12:44 pm |
