Deep snow on road 14

CR 14 is a dirt road which branches off from Hwy 550. I took the approach from below the Red Mountain Pass (just opposite of Ophir Pass). If I would have stayed on CR 14, I would reconnect with Hwy 550 at the top of Red Mountain Pass. This approach requires more elevation gain, and guarantees solitude. The top of Red Mountain Pass is very popular with hikers, and in the winter with back country skiers.
