| It was terribly cold on top. I'm just glad I always prepare for the worst. I ended up sporting my gloves and three layers. I would say it was probably 20 degrees on top; maybe colder with high winds. There was already a nice cornice formed as the wind scoured the summit ridge. This is a very pretty area. I would love to come back in the winter. Thanks Box Elder! | |

| Hiked a good portion of the trail in the dark on the way up to Box Elder Peak. Once again a beautiful hike from Community Flats. My preferred route to the summit! | |
