Deer in Big Meadow

Evening time at Big Meadows is the best time to see and photograph the deer in Shenandoah National Park, VA. They're out by the dozens, and so tame that it's easy to walk up to within a few feet of them before they become skittish. This image was taken in June 2004.

Mark, I´ve also found your member "blurb" interesting! You sound like your continuing the tradition of your forefather, a back woods man! Thanks

Cheers
