Deer Lake

Deer Lake (on the Swift Creek trail) looking north. The "lake" is actually an old dam built during New Deal times (according to a ranger I spoke with). The trail actually runs along the top of this dam on the south side of the lake where you can see an old water gate and ruins of a cabin.
