| Took the trail up to Martin Lake and climbed Mt. Powell. Walked the Crater rim over to Deer Lodge Mountain. Very impressive views! Camped at Martin Lake. | |

| Have combined Mt. Powell and Dearlodge Mtn. together in all seasons around 15 times. Climbed with Sp'r Saintgrizzly also. | |

| Climbed with Cory Frankovich (pintlerpro on SP). This was in March of 2005, which was an all-time record winter for lack of snow. Cory, who knows the area very well, pointed out we should have been snowshoeing in about seven feet of snow, but conditions at that time were similar to what would normally be found in June (we left the snowshoes on our packs all day)! It was a nice, albeit long, day. Cory's a great person to climb with! | |

| Left the jeep at 6:45 and returned at 5:30. 9 miles round trip and 4165' of elevation gain. It was a great day. Great views. | |
