Deer Tongue

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Deer Tongue
The deer of the Olympic Range are desperate for any source salt. Sometimes, when you go to relieve yourself they literally come running. Such was the case with this fellow. When I turned around after watering the bushes, there he was waiting for me to walk away. Photographed in upper Royal Basin, August 25, 2007.
